History

In 1993, we, Sunreeve created the innovative eyewear, “OVAL-TAKUMI DESIGN”. This is the first magnetic eyewear, in which the small Neodymium magnets are built in and the size of the magnet is smaller and within the size of regular metal frame. This invention is protected under the U.S patent#5,642,177, Japan Patent#2,628,569 and 2,708,100.
Since the release of 1st collection of OVAL-TAKUMI DESIGN, hundreds of thousands of pieces of OVAL-TAKUMI DESIGN frames have been sold in around 50 countries. Wearers of OVAL-TAKUMI DESIGN have enjoyed the convenience to put on and off the magnetic sunglass clip-on by one-hand. OVAL-TAKUMI DESIGN, handmade in Japan, is still the No.1 magnetic eyewear in the high-end eyewear market.
